Here are five key notes on the appointment:
1. Mr. Enochs will oversee the business development and marketing efforts for The Joint Commission and its strategic business units. This includes overseeing external relations and state relations.
2. He is succeeding Chuck Mowll, who retired in May.
3. Previously, Mr. Enochs held executive positions with Inarcia Therapeutics, Abbvie Pharmaceuticals and Eli Lilly & Co.
4. Mr. Enochs’ brings experience in general management, marketing and sales, business development, strategic planning, alliance management, new product planning and commercial analysis to his new role.
5. He received his law degree from the University of Texas and is a member of the State Bar of Texas.
