ICANL Accredits Halifax Regional Hospital Nuclear Medicine, Heart Center

The Intersocietal Commission for Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories has accredited the nuclear medicine department and Halifax Heart Center of Halifax Regional Hospital in South Boston, Va., according to a report by The Gazette-Virginian.

The ICANL was established through support from the American Society of Radiologic Technologists, Academy of Molecular Imaging, American College of Nuclear Medicine, American College of Cardiology, Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist Section, Society of Nuclear Medicine and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.

Halifax Regional Hospital has 192 beds.
