Florence Neurosurgery & Spine gets accreditation: 5 key notes

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accredited the Florence Neurosurgery & Spine center in South Carolina, according to an AAAHC newsletter.

Here are five things to know about Florence Neurosurgery & Spine:

1. The 16,400 square foot building includes interventional pain management, a physical therapy gym, durable medical equipment and two procedure rooms. There is also imaging facilities for MRI and X-ray.

2. There are five physicians associated with the center. The surgeons focus on neurosurgery and back pain management.

3. Treatments include microscopic surgery, cervical fusion, direct lateral fusion, skull base surgery, peripheral nerve surgery and pain pumps

4. The practice has the Guestnet interactive kiosks for patient education.

5. The specialists are also on the medical staff at Carolinas Hospital System and McLeod Regional Medical Center.
