Here are four things to know about the center:
1. Endoscopy Center of Southwest Virginia opened in February 2005 as the first independent outpatient gastrointestinal endoscopy center in southwest Virginia.
2. There have been more than 35,000 procedures performed at the center since it opened.
3. Services at the center include diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and lower endoscopy as well as screenings for colon polyps, Barrett’s Esophagus and esophagitis.
4. There are six physician members of the Endoscopy Center of Southwest Virginia.
