MBSAQIP’s accreditation recognizes the ASC’s commitment to “providing and supporting quality improvement and patient safety efforts for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients,” the accrediting body wrote in a letter shared on LinkedIn.
To maintain certification, the surgery center is required to annually submit a report demonstrating compliance with all applicable standards.
