Crater Lake Surgery Center earns AAAHC accreditation — 3 highlights

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accredited Medford, Ore.-based Crater Lake Surgery Center.

Three highlights:

1. AAAHC awards accreditation to ASCs providing the highest quality of care to patients, as determined by an independent, external evaluation process.

2. AAAHC accredited more than 5,000 ambulatory healthcare organizations to date.

3. Crater Lake Surgery Center's George Johnson, DO, and Joseph Savino, MD, said, "Going through the process challenged us to find better ways to serve our patients, and it is a constant reminder that our responsibility is to strive to continuously improve the quality of care we provide. We are focused on ensuring that patients have the best /surgical procedures experience possible while providing cost effective care in our community."
