Coronado Surgery Center gets accredited — 3 details

Sierra Vista, Ariz.-based Coronado Surgery Center earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care April 9.

Three details:

1. The Coronado Surgery Center was established in 2017 and has two physicians on staff.

2. Over 6,000 ASCs in the U.S. are accredited by the AAAHC and must undergo a survey to earn it.

3. Jamie Moenster, DO, medical director of Coronado Surgery Center said, “When you see our certificate of accreditation, you will know that AAAHC, an independent, not-for-profit organization, has closely examined our facility and procedures. It means we as an organization care enough about our patients to strive for the highest level of care possible.”
