Citrus Ambulatory Surgery Center accredited by AAAHC: 4 things to know

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care accredited the Orlando-based Citrus Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The surgery center has a sister center called Central Florida Surgical Center.

2. The Citrus center has 10 physicians working out of it and features four operating rooms as well as nine recovery rooms.

3. The centers are primarily outpatient endoscopic facilities specializing in colon cancer screening and gastroenterology.

4. Carol Terry is the Citrus’ centers administrator.
