AAAHC Announces New Quality Improvement Studies for 2012

The AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement has announced two new benchmarking studies for 2012, according to a report in Connection, the e-newsletter from the AAAHC.

These new benchmarking studies — “Primary and Specialty Non-Surgical Care” and “Surgical/Procedural Services” — focus on processes of care, patient outcomes and patient satisfaction.

The report also noted AAAHC IQI is currently accepting registrations for the following studies:

  • Cataract extraction with Lens Insertion
  • Colonoscopy
  • Knee Arthroscopy with Meniscectomy
  • Pain Management/Low Back Injection
