Beckley Surgery Center achieves AAAHC accreditation — 3 notes

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care re-accredited Beckley (W.Va.) Surgery Center, The Register-Herald reports.

Here are three notes:

1. The ASC has maintained AAAHC accreditation since 2000.

2. A. James Paine Jr., MD, is the owner, president and CEO of Beckley Surgery Center.

3. The center's primary services are ENT, cosmetic/plastic surgery, ophthalmology, interventional pain management, podiatry and orthopedics procedures.

"We believe our patients deserve the best," said Beckley Surgery Center's Rebecca Paine, CASC, vice president and administrator. "When you see our certificate of accreditation, you will know that AAAHC, an independent, not-for-profit organization, has closely examined our facility and procedures."
