Barnes-Jewish Hospital Earns Joint Commission Accreditation for Stroke Care

The Joint Commission and the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association have granted the Washington University and Barnes-Jewish Hospital Stoke & Cerebrovascular Center advanced certification as comprehensive stroke center.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis is the first hospital in Missouri to earn the comprehensive stroke center distinction.
