ASC to know: Harford Endoscopy Center

Bel Air, Md.-based Harford Endoscopy Center opened in 1994, and is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The center has an adenoma (polyp) detection rate above the national benchmark. It uses GIQuIC, a GI quality registry to track outcomes, comparing its results to benchmarks set by the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

There are six physicians on staff.
