CMS now collects ASC quality data through the Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting Program and posts results on the Hospital Compare website.

 

Seven states reported 0 patient burn rate in 2015 while North Dakota had the highest ASC patient burn rate at 0.698 per 1,000 patients. Here is the ASC patient burn rate for all 50 states, ranked from lowest to highest:
