Here’s what you should know.

1. AccreditSoft designed the software for facilities accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Centers or The Joint Commission.

2. The software allows facilities to electronically manage accreditation requirements. AccreditSoft claims this is “the first time ASCs are able to manage daily accreditation requirements electronically using an iPad.”

3. The software also allows surveyors to use the electronic forms for reference instead of relying on paper records.
