AAAHC surveyor to know: LoAnn Vande Leest

LoAnn Vande Leest, BSN, is the CEO of Traverse City-based Northwest Michigan Surgery Center and a surveyor for the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

Ms. Vande Leest has worked as a surveyor since December 2006.

Before stepping into her role with the Northwest Michigan Surgery Center, she was the administrator at Franklin, Wis.-based The Surgery Center.

Ms. Vande Leest is a past president of the Association of Wisconsin Surgery Centers.

She earned her nursing degree from Bellevue, Wis.-based Bellin College of Nursing Green and her master’s in business administration from Milwaukee-based Cardinal Stritch University.
