AAAHC opens comment on behavioral health service standard updates

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care opened their proposed revisions to the standards for organizations offering behavioral health services revisions to open comment.

The organization invites surveyors, medical groups, regulatory agencies and the public to review and provide comment to the revisions. AAAHC-accredited organizations and staff members are also invited to comment.

The comment period on proposed revisions runs through March 23 at 5pm CST. The organization welcomes suggested text changes and requests commenters include rationale behind any suggestions.

Commenters may return to the document after initial comment.
