AAAHC Institute Announces New Board Members

The AAAHC Institute for Quality Improvement, a not-for-profit subsidiary of the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, has announced David N. Gans, MHSA, FACMPE, and Martin L. Gonzalez, MS, have been named to the AAAHC Institute's board of trustees.

 

Mr. Gans is vice president of innovation and research for the Medical Group Management Association, and Mr. Gonzalez is senior research associate for the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, according to a news release from AAAHC.

 

"The board of trustees serves an important role in overseeing the quality improvement and performance measurement studies and educational programs offered to ambulatory organizations by the AAAHC Institute," said Naomi Kuznets, senior director and general manager of the AAAHC Institute, in the release. "We look forward to working with these outstanding new board members, both of whom have extensive backgrounds in health care quality improvement measurement and education. They bring valuable insights and skills to the board as we move forward with our mission to improve the quality of ambulatory patient care."
