AAAHC Collaborates on CMS Panel for PPACA Quality issues

Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care chair of the AAAHC Health Plan Advisory Committee and surveyor Karen Connolly, RN is representing AAAHC on two CMS panels addressing health plan requirements under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

The panels are each about 10 members. One is addressing quality improvement strategies, and the other is addressing quality reporting systems. Ms. Connolly is one of few individuals on both committees, according to a news release.
