AAAHC accredits Weston Outpatient Surgical Center in Florida: 5 key notes

The Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care accredited Weston Outpatient Surgical Center. Here are five things to know:

1. The surgery center is 16,000-square-feet and includes six operating rooms and two endoscopy rooms. The center also has one special procedure suite.

2. The ASC’s suites include high-technology monitors, lasers and microscopic cameras.

3. Specialties at the surgery center include gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, pain management, plastic surgery, urology and podiatry.

4. The center includes 30 physicians.

5. Physicians perform colonoscopy, arthroplasty, endoscopic sinus surgery, lumbar discectomy, pain stimulator insertion, rotator cuff repair and tenosynovectomy.
