The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care conducted a successful survey of MVP Pediatric & Urgent Care. Here are five things to know about the center:
1. MVP Pediatric Urgent Care is a pediatric physician-run practice.
2. The physicians are board-certified and provide an alternative to the adult emergency room or urgent care.
3. Services include care for patients who have allergies, broken bones, infections, coughs, diarrhea and vomiting, ear and eye infections, fever, sore throats, pain and headaches.
4. The center has digital X-rays, stitches, IV hydration therapy and wound care.
5. The center also includes psychosocial services with individual, family and group therapy.
