AAAHC accredits Endoscopy Center of Ocala: 5 things to know

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care granted accreditation to the Endoscopy Center of Ocala (Fla.).

Here are five things to know about the center:

1. There are 13 physicians associated with the Endoscopy Center of Ocala.

2. The physicians at the 6,100-square-foot facility have served the Ocala and North Central Florida neighborhoods for more than 125 years collectively.

3. The physicians are focused on colon cancer screening and digestive healthcare. The center includes colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy.

4. Fay McCrocklin, RN, is the center director. She joined the center in 1996 and assumed the role as center director in 2001.

5. The Surgery Center of Ocala is a Healthcare Bluebook Value Certified provider.
