AAAASF named Carl Herzog COO: 4 key facts

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities tapped Carl Herzog to be its new chief operating officer.

Here’s what you need to know.

1. Mr. Herzog will lead the day-to-day operations of AAAASF.

2. Before accepting the position, Mr. Herzog most recently worked as the vice president of corporate development at Livonia, MIch.-based WorkForce Software.

3. He served in similar roles at Lincolnshire, Ill.-based AON Hewitt, Boston-based RMS (Iron Mountain) and Northfield, Ill.-based Medline Industries.

4. AAAASF Board President David Watts, MD, lauded the hire saying Mr. Herzog will “propel AAAASF into the future.”
