AAAASF accredits 4 surgical facilities in California

The American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities granted accreditation for four California centers in September.

The California facilities with new AAAASF accreditation include:

1. Conejo Valley Outpatient Center in Los Angeles
2. Hanabusa IVF in San Diego
3. Napa Advanced Surgery Center in Napa
4. Fashion Island Surgery Center (doing business as Surgery Center of Orange) in Orange

The inspectors examine several aspects of the surgery center, including the operating room environment, general environment, recovery room policies and procedures, medication, medical records, personnel and anesthesia.
