The Joint Commission awarded Long Beach, Calif.-based Xcell Surgery Center accreditation Aug. 27. The surveyor commended the facility’s design, layout and overall patient flow.
Ten of Chappaqua, N.Y.-based CareMount Medical‘s facilities in the Hudson Valley gained reaccreditation from the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities. These are the facilities:

- Mount Kisco Radiology Suite

- Peekskill Endoscopy Suite
- Poughkeepsie Oakwood Urology, OB/GYN, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology and Pain Management Surgical Suite
