When booking hotel accommodations, please note that Becker's Healthcare has NOT contracted with any third-party housing service or bureau. All hotel room reservations for conference attendees and exhibitors should be made directly with the Swissotel Chicago or, in the case that the Swissotel is sold out, on your own directly through a hotel. 


We have been made aware of unauthorized housing and hotel reservation services that may solicit your business, such as a company called Exhibition Housing Services. THIS IS A SCAM! They may say the conference hotel block is sold out or indicate that they can book you a room at a better rate. All legitimate communications regarding housing will come directly from Becker's Healthcare. Using unauthorized reservation services may threaten your credit card security.

If you receive a suspicious email or phone call asking to book your hotel room for the conference, please let us know immediately. Email us at events@beckershealthcare.com or call 312-281-6535.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

 

Chicago has two airports - O'Hare (ORD) and Midway (MDW), which are both 15-20 miles from Downtown Chicago. Taxi service is readily available from both airports and runs about $35 one way.  Depending on the time of day, a cab will take approximately 30 minutes.

GO Airport Express offers airport shuttle services between Chicago area locations and O'Hare and Midway Airports. Efficient, safe, and economical airport shuttles depart from O'Hare and Midway Airports every 15 minutes for Chicago downtown and many suburban locations. Ground transportation is arranged by making a reservation.  

 

How do I pick up my badges?

Pick up your badge at the Exhibitor & Sponsor Registration desk located inside the Exhibit Hall.

 

What are the approximate set up and teardown hours?

 

Set up: Thursday, October 18th from 11am-4:30pm

Tear down: Friday, October 19th from 6:00pm- 8:00pm

Where and when do I send my booth?

 

Please complete a SHIPPING AND HANDLING form and send the completed form to events@beckershealthcare.com. We will help with next steps after we receive your shipping form!

 

Will there be a company on-site to help set up the booths?

The Becker's staff is available to assist; however, there will not be a company available to help with booth setup. If you'd like to hire a company to provide this service, you are welcome to do so at your own expense. Please let the Becker's Events Team know if you need recommendations of local companies. Email us at events@beckershealthcare.com.

 

Can my booth host a raffle?

Absolutely! We encourage all booths to host a raffle on Thursday or Friday evenings to encourage attendees to stop by and leave business cards. If you plan on participating in a raffle, please email events@beckershealthcare.com to let us know what you'll be raffling. We will then arrange a time to stop by your booth to announce the winners.

 

What should I wear?

 

Business casual dress is recommended.  Chicago's average weather in October is around 40 degrees; however, this can fluctuate dramatically.

 

How can I purchase my electricity and internet for my booth?

 

You will order power and electricity by submitting this Order Form to events@beckershealthcare.com . Please note, neither electricity nor internet are included with your booth. Also note, Becker's does not hire an onsite company to assist with booth setup and tear down. Please let us know if you require this service and we can recommend local companies. Our staff will be on hand and happy to assist, as well.
