World Surgical Foundation honors Dr. Roger Bucs: 4 quick points

The World Surgical Foundation is honoring Roger G. Bucs, MD, with a Distinguished Service Award, according to a report by The Patriot-News.

1. Dr. Bucs is a partner at Riverside Anesthesiology Associates in Harrisburg, Pa.

2. He has served as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at Penn State Milton S. Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center and as chief of anesthesiology at Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg.

3. Dr. Bucs has been on 18 World Surgical Foundation missions since 1998.

4. He has traveled to the Philippines, Honduras, Thailand, India and Ethiopia on these medical mission trips.
