1. Dr. Epps most recently served as chair of the department of anesthesiology at the medical center and UT Graduate School of Medicine.
2. He previously served as vice chair of the department of anesthesiology at Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
3. He has completed two fellowships, one in pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and one in cardiovascular anesthesiology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.
4. Dr. Epps is replacing Jack Lacey, MD, who has retired.
