Anesthesiologist Appointed to McLeod Health Board

McLeod Health Systems in Florence, S.C., this week appointed R. Benjamin King, MD, to its health community board, according to an SC Now report.

Dr. King is one of five new members who will serve three-year terms with the board. Board certified in anesthesiology, he cares for patients at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Dr. King received his medical degree from Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston.

The 20-member McLeod Community Board serves as an advisory board on matters pertaining to hospital management and the quality of patient care in the South Carolina region.
