NorthStar Anesthesia has partnered with UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook (Ill.) to provide services at the facility.
The partnership will eventually launch April 19, according to an April 16 news release. Under NorthStar Anesthesia’s model, anesthesiologists and CRNAs collaborate to provide care.
The organization was created by an anesthesiologist/CRNA partnership, and currently employs 4,000 providers across 280 partner sites.
NorthStar will retain all of AdventHealth’s existing providers, and has hired a new chief CRNA at the facility.
