Little Rock-based University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing named Martina Steed, PhD, CRNA, director of its Nurse Anesthesia Program.
Dr. Steed, an assistant professor in the College of Nursing, had served as interim director since January, according to a Sept. 15 news release.
The three-year, full-time track is a specialty in the college’s Doctor of Nursing Practice program, which prepares students to provide anesthesia care to patients of all ages in a variety of clinical settings.
UAMS has a main campus in Little Rock and includes UAMS Health, a statewide health system encompassing all of UAMS’ clinical enterprises.
