Here are five key notes on the merger:
1. MAPMC includes more than 75 anesthesia providers.
2. It was established in 1969 and today it provides anesthesia services to multiple acute-care hospitals.
3. As per the new partnership, MAPMC will join Joseph L. Riley Anesthesia Associates, which is a founding partner of USAP.
4. USAP was established in 2012 and the MAPMC transaction is the fourth new partnership announced by USAP during 2015. USAP now includes over 1,700 anesthesia providers.
