To manage a successful practice, all economic variables must be monitored, and this can be mitigated by using data from an anesthesia billing system. 

The system contains all the pertinent details of every surgery or delivery for which anesthesia was provided and can help solve utilization issues by tracking activity. 

Most practices are not in transition, Mr. Mira wrote, and anesthesia billing systems can help practices be timely, accurate and clinically efficient during these transitions.
