St. Mary’s Medical Center names Dr. Brian Davidson interim president: 4 observations

Brian Davidson, MD, has been named interim president of St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., according to a report by The Daily Sentinel.

1. Dr. Davidson serves as vice president for medical affairs and CMO. He will continue his current duties while taking on interim president role.

2. He will take over as interim president during a nationwide search for a successor following President and CEO Mike McBride’s departure.

4. He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver.
