Somnia Anesthesia Appoints John Ansorge New CFO

Somnia Anesthesia Services has announced John Ansorge will serve as the company’s CFO.

Mr. Ansorge will assume oversight of the company’s financial operations, with responsibility for accounting, financial planning and reporting, budgets and forecasting, according to a news release.

Mr. Ansorge joins Somnia with more than 20 years experience in hospital finance. He most recently held the position of interim CFO for Stamford (Conn.) Health System, a 305-bed teaching hospital affiliated with the Columbia University Medical School. He has also held the post of CFO at Lincoln Park Hospital in Chicago and Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Kentucky, respectively.

“John is a highly talented healthcare finance professional who rounds out our world-class executive team,” said Somnia President and CEO, Marc E. Koch, MD, MBA, in the news release. “He brings tremendous business acumen to the organization and we’re confident he will put in place the financial structure needed to support our continued growth in the hospital market.”
