San Antonio anesthesiologist Dr. Casey Drawert killed in murder-suicide: 5 notes

Anesthesiologist Casey Drawert, MD, was killed by her husband in a murder-suicide, according to a Kens 5 Eyewitness News report.

Here are five notes:

1. Police found both David Thomas Ross, the shooter, and Dr. Drawert dead in their San Antonio home on March 13.

2. Dr. Drawert, an anesthesiologist, worked in private practice in San Antonio.

3. She also worked as a contractor in the surgical intensive care unit at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System and as a part-time professor at the UT School of Medicine, both located in San Antonio.

4. A motive for the murder-suicide has not been made clear as yet.

5. Dr. Drawert has two children, who were not at home at the time of the shooting.
