Regional Medical Center Now Uses SIS Perioperative, Anesthesiology Program

Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn., has implemented a new perioperative and anesthesiology technology solution that works with its electronic health records, according to IT News.

The medical center spent six months incorporating the IT solution designed by Surgical Information Systems, a perioperative software development company.

Regional Medical Center intends for the new program to improve technology support for clinical workflow, eliminate manual processes and improve managing costs.

The SIS implementation includes an automated anesthesia information management system, a role-based analytics tool, an integrated tissue-tracking and management solution and a comprehensive scheduling system.
