Neil Ellis, MD, is taking his talent to Tampa, Fla., and joining Physicians Partners of America's practice there.
Here's what you should know:
1. Dr. Ellis is double board-certified in anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine.
2. He earned his medical degree from Norfolk-based Eastern Virginia Medical School. He completed his residency and fellowship at Gainesville-based UF-Health Shands Hospital.
3. He is an active researcher, leading research on spinal pain treatments.
4. Dr. Ellis said, "I am the type of physician who enjoys getting to know my patients as people and treating the whole person. I think it's important to form a connection with them."
