Hershey, Pa.-based Penn State Health has added Lancaster, Pa.-based Prime Anesthesia Associates.
Prime’s three physicians and two certified registered nurse anesthetists joined Penn State on March 24, according to a March 26 press release.
In addition, the system hired a new full-time CRNA and six part-time CRNAs. The addition will help Penn State move more procedures to the outpatient setting, according to the release.
Prime Anesthesia currently provides anesthesia services at Penn State’s ASC, the Surgery Center of Lancaster. Physicians with Lancaster Orthopedic also operate at the ASC.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
