The site offers monthly interviews and discussions with researchers, podcasts featuring interviews with practitioners and students, a collaborative online encyclopedic anesthesia textbook, multiple choice exam preparation and monthly videos featuring operative cases.

Since launching in July 2009, OpenAnesthesia has received more than 2.5 million total page views, with more than 150,000 page views and 26,000 unique visitors per month.
