Northstar Anesthesia sues Metrosouth Medical Center for $1.25M — 3 details

Irving, Texas-based Northstar Anesthesia filed a lawsuit alleging Blue Island, Ill.-based Metrosouth Medical Center refused to pay for more than $1.25 million worth of anesthesia services provided, Cook County Record reports.

1. Northstar Anesthesia filed the lawsuit against Blue Island Hospital Co., which is doing business as Metrosouth Medical Center.

2. The anesthesiology services company filed the complaint Sept. 4, citing alleged breach of contract.

3. Northstar Anesthesia requested a trial by jury and is seeking $1.25 million plus late fees, interest, attorney fees, court costs and other relief.
