Irving, Texas-based NorthStar Anesthesia has grown its ASC presence in Georgia to more than 60 partnerships, supported by nearly 50 anesthesiologists and over 200 CRNAs.

In the past four months, NorthStar has added five new client sites, including OrthoAtlanta in Austell, Professional Eye Surgery Center in Dalton, Takle Eye Center in Griffin, Apex Spine and Neurosurgery in Suwanee and a spine surgery center in the Atlanta area, according to a Sept. 29 system news release.

The group’s model emphasizes transparent contracts, CRNA independence, and data-driven care. NorthStar also maintains a recruiting pipeline with ties to more than 65 CRNA training programs, adding 5 to 10 new graduates each year.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
