North Shore Medical Center honors Dr. Wilfred Lewis: 3 notes

North Shore Medical Center in Salem, Mass., recently honored Wilfred Lewis, MD, with a 2015 Department of Surgery Clinical Excellence and Professionalism Award, according to a Wicked Local report.

Here are three notes:

1. Dr. Lewis serves as vice chair of the department of anesthesia at the medical center.

2. He previously served as a clinical assistant professor in anesthesia at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.

3. He is a board-certified anesthesiologist who completed his residency and fellowship in cardiac anesthesia and perioperative transesophageal echocardiography at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston.
