North Carolina Anesthesiology Practices Merge

Shelby (N.C.) Anesthesiology Associates has merged with Charlotte, N.C.-based Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants, according to a report in the Charlotte Business Journal.

Shelby Anesthesiology, which has five anesthesiologists, will join the 80-plus Southeast Anesthesiology, according to the report. Southeast Anesthesiology will provide services to Cleveland Regional Medical Center and Cleveland Ambulatory Surgery Center in Shelby, N.C., as part of the merger.

According to the report, financial details of the merger were not disclosed.
