Here’s what you should know:
1. Under the agreement, NAPA will provide anesthesiology services at Manhasset, N.Y.-based North Shore University Hospital, New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Long Island Jewish Medical Center, LIJ Forest Hills (N.Y.), LIJ Valley Stream (N.Y.), Glen Cove (N.Y.) Hospital, Plainview (N.Y.) Hospital, Syosset (N.Y.) Hospital and Huntington (N.Y.) Hospital.
2. The agreement strengthens Northwell’s Anesthesiology Residency Program, which comprises 24 physicians at various locations.
3. Northwell Health’s relationship with NAPA began 30-plus years ago. North Shore University Hospital anesthesiologists established NAPA in 1986.
4. NAPA has 390 Northwell-affiliated clinicians.
