New York Board of Medicine appoints Dr. Lawrence Epstein

Lawrence Epstein, MD, has been appointed to the New York Board of Medicine, according to an ASA report.

Dr. Epstein is the immediate past president of the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists. He is currently the director of outpatient pain management in the department of anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Additionally, he serves in the American Society of Anesthesiologists’ House of Delegates as well its Committee on Bylaws, Committee on Governmental Efficiency and Effectiveness and Committee on Pain Medicine.

Dr. Epstein’s term with the New York Board of Medicine began in December and will conclude in 2019.
