Four things to know:
1. The closure coincides with the end of Seacoast Pain Institute’s contract with Dover, N.H.-based Wentworth-Douglass Hospital, which decided to bring pain treatment and anesthesia services in house through its Center for Pain Management.
2. The Center for Pain Management will begin offering office consultations, procedures, ketamine infusions and other pain management services on Dec. 2, the first business day after Seacoast Pain Institute closes.
3. Six unnamed providers from Seacoast Pain Institute will join the newly expanded Center for Pain Management in December, a hospital spokesperson told fosters.com.
4. Seacoast Pain Institute, a division of ProCare Pain Solutions, is instructing patients to address any clinical needs before noon on Nov. 26. After that date, patients must refer to their primary care providers or visit the nearest emergency room.
