NAPA will serve as the exclusive provider of anesthesia services and the on-site anesthesia team will be led by John Satterfield, MD, a chief of anesthesia for NAPA. The organization currently partners with 40 ambulatory surgery centers.
Southington Surgery Center is a joint venture of The Hospital of Central Connecticut, MidState Medical Center and surrounding area physicians. The 10,200-square-foot facility includes three operating rooms, six preoperative bays, eight postoperative bays and private exam rooms.
