Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine honors Dr. Robert Snyder

Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing honored anesthesiologist Robert Snyder, DO, with the Walter F. Patenge Medal of Public Service, according to a Midland Daily News report.

Here are three notes:

1. Now retired, Dr. Snyder has previously served as president of MidMichigan Anesthesiology Group in Midland, as well as chairman of MidMichigan Medical Center–Midland’s anesthesiology department.

2. Dr. Snyder has also served as president of the Michigan Society of Osteopathic Anesthesiologists and American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists.

3. The Walter F. Patenge Medal of Service is awarded every year to leaders in healthcare, education and community service.
