2. He also previously served as the president of the Spectrum Health medical staff.

3. He is a member of the Michigan Society of Anesthesiologists and American Society of Anesthesiologists.

4. He completed his residency at Sinai Grace Hospital-DMC in Detroit.

5. The Michigan State Medical Society includes 15,000 physicians.
