Merger creates 36-location integrated pain solutions entity — 3 things to know

Clearway Pain Solutions merged with KureSmart Pain Management, creating one of the country’s largest practices devoted to integrated pain solutions.

Three things to know:

1. Together, Clearway and KureSmart comprise 37 physicians and 46 clinical practitioners across 36 locations in five states: Maryland, Florida, Alabama, Delaware and Michigan.

2. Damean Freas, DO, is CEO of the merged entity, of which Clearway Pain Solutions is the flagship brand. Dr. Freas was previously CEO of KureSmart.

3. The entity’s corporate headquarters are in Annapolis, Md., where KureSmart has been headquartered. Clearway Pain Solutions was based in Pensacola, Fla., prior to the merger.
